Pierce Brosnan launches new OMEGA Seamaster in Kuala Lumpur:
Pierce Brosnan - actor, producer and environmentalist - visited Malaysia for two days as OMEGA's star guest. On his first afternoon, he was visibly impressed during his visit to the striking Twin Towers, where he enjoyed the awesome view from the 42nd floor over tea. On the evening of the 12th September, Pierce Brosnan was the guest of honour at a Gala Dinner hosted by OMEGA. This sumptuous dinner was in appreciation of Pierce Brosnan and the current OMEGA ambassadors, as well as an introduction to the new faces of OMEGA, who were chosen for their past achievements, merits and future plans. Omega also paid a tribute to the Malaysian film industry and honoured two talented producer-directors who have made significant contributions to the film industry: Mr Aziz M. Osman and Ms Habsah Hassan. This grand occasion was well-attended by The Regent of Malaysia and other royalty, as well as ministers, top celebrities and socialites. The following day, more than 80 Asian journalists waited eagerly for the chance to pose questions to Pierce Brosnan at a press conference, with topics ranging from his role as OMEGA's ambassador to his environmental convictions.
