Audemars Piguet - Le Brassus (Switzerland)

Four high-value watches missing from Audemars Piguet 125th anniversary show in Rome. Rome police are investigating the disappearance of four watches totalling CHF 816'530 from the Audemars Piguet 125th anniversary exhibition at the city's Museo del Corso on Thursday October 12. Three unique wristwatches and an antique pocket-watch were removed from their display cases by a person or persons unknown between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. It was the last European showing of the 125 Audemars Piguet timepieces before the exhibition travels to New York.
The wristwatches were made especially for the exhibition and the 1923 pocket-watch belongs to the Audemars Piguet museum. All have highly complicated movements.
Audemars Piguet is offering a reward to anyone who can provide information leading to the recovery of the four watches.
